There was then still one more snag in that the Zoom did not operate correctly and the zoom is very useful for critical focussing. This worked and I had a healthy WiFi control of my 5D4 again.

The software guys came back with a new suggestion that I set the camera to interface to a PC rather than Smartphone as originally instructed.
